Jogging An Hour Can Increase Life Span

OWA —A recent study conducted at Iowa State University and published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology found that a small amount of jogging is good for your health.
The study included 1100 joggers, and 500 people that did not jog at all. The jogging participants filled out questionnaires regarding how frequent and how long they jogged on average.
The team found that those who lightly jogged (slow pace) on a regular basis saw significant improvements in their overall health compared to those who did not job and those who jogged vigorously, often. Most notably, they found that those who lightly jog have a lower risk of death.
According to study researcher, Jacob Marott:
"In this study, the dose of running that was most favorable for reducing mortality was jogging 1 to 2.4 hours per week, with no more than three running days per week."
If you are interested in receiving health benefits or reducing your risk of death, you might want to consider lightly jogging three days per week.

Have a great day.
